Each Ultimate Image toner cartridge has gone through a stringent and vital process prior to releasing it to you, our customer. All new cartridge types must pass though EIGHTEEN qualifying steps in order to be suitable for release. We are dedicated to developing a quality product that will meet the printing needs of your customers from start to finish while staying true to the standards of the OEM.

Initially we research the machine type for new technologies, the benefits, and the downfalls. Each new printer released to the market has its own characteristics in how it reacts with the toner cartridge. The in-depth process of our R&D department during development of new product additions eliminates the guess work in remanufactured toner cartridges.

Toner In-House Qualification and Quality Control: Our toners are qualified in sub-batches from the manufacturer prior to us receiving the product. The average particle size for the lot is scrutinized.  Each batch of toner is life cycle and image tested to meet our quality requirements. Once the batch/lot or toner is approved it is then the only toner used in the assembly of each specific cartridge type until a new batch has been qualified.

Mag Roller In-House Qualification and Quality Control: Magnetic developer rollers are qualified using dial indicators to detect bearing run off up to 0.001 of an inch. If there is a slight variance or run off on the bearing of the mag roller the toner cartridge will produce rotational banding horizontally down the page. The dial indicators (right) ensure this print defect will never occur in an Ultimate Image toner cartridge. Each batch/lot of magnetic developer rollers are also life cycled to ensure the component will endure the entire print cycle.

The magnetic roller bushings (left) are measured with digital calipers to eliminate the possibility of rotational light spots caused by unbalanced bushings, and toner migration.
